Where “my 9 games” comes from
The idea started in Japan as 私を構成する9つのゲーム, “the 9 games that make up who I am”: you pick nine games that shaped you and share them as one image. Japanese sites built around it include my9games.net, which also offers an English version. my9games.com, another separate site, has an English version at my9games.com/en as well.
my9games.cc is an English-only take on the same idea, built for players who know their games by English names and acronyms.
