Search games by acronym, nickname or typo

Type a game the way you would say it to a friend. The search in the My9Games grid and tier list makers knows botw, rdr2, bg3, melee and ff7, not only the full titles.

A search that only matches exact titles comes back empty, or with the wrong game, for “botw” or “ff7”. Here the first result is usually the game you meant. The search understands:

• Acronyms: botw, totk, rdr2, bg3, tlou, mgs3.
• Nicknames and short names: melee, silksong, new vegas, goose game.
• Roman and Arabic numerals: ff7, ffvii and final fantasy 7 are the same game, and so are gta v and gta 5.
• Remakes and versions: re4 remake, ff7 remake, p3r, or a year such as gow 2018.
• Typos and missing punctuation: skyrm, eldin ring, baldurs gate 3, no mans sky.

How it works

The catalog has over 60,000 games with cover art from IGDB.com. Each game carries its alternative names from IGDB, Wikidata and Wikipedia redirects, plus the acronyms players actually use. When two games share a name, the better-known one comes first, and a year picks a specific release. The search runs in your browser, so results appear as you type.
